Her network of IBMs and TSS agents is mainly located in Hoima district in the sub counties of Kitoba, Busiisi, Buhimba, Buhanika, Kizirafumbi and Kyangwali. This region is agriculturally productive and mainly deals in maize, rice, beans soyabean, pineapples and vegetables. AgriNet is already engaged in forward contract farming ventures with farmer groups in this region for soyabean, rice and beans through the TSS agents. Grace also oversees the public private partnership in this region between NAADS and AgriNet, to expand market intelligence services to the farmers in 13 sub counties in Hoima with NAADS funding. |
